Audio UK APA Winners 2023

Even though November 2023 called time on our custodianship of the prestigious "Production Company of the Year 2022" award from AudioUK's Audio Production Awards, Reduced Listening came away from this year's awards ceremony at the BFI South Bank with no less than five new gongs!

Producer of the Year – Anishka Sharma (Gold)
Best Music Producer – Katie Callin (Gold)
Best New Producer – Silvia Malnati (Silver)
Best Drama and Fiction Producer – Anishka Sharma (Silver)
Best News and Current Affairs Producer – Alex Bishop (Bronze)

The evening was hosted by Nish Kumar and Coco Khan, hosts of the hit new UK political podcast Pod Save the UK, a Reduced Listening partnership with Crooked Media, and Reduced Listening Managing Director Joby Waldman gave an opening speech in his capacity as this year's Chairman of the Judges...

"In a time where it feels like humanity is being tested, the work of the people in this room is vital; as journalists telling stories with depth and intelligence, and as selectors and editors platforming diverse voices and sounds. We can bring new ideas, and inspire positive change."

The team won awards for their work on programmes across our output including Late Junction, Pod Save the UK and Dream Fuel with Arlo Parks.
