Digital Producer - Entertainment (Part Time):
Reduced Listening is an award-winning independent production company, specialising in acclaimed radio and podcasts about ideas and culture. We love working collaboratively, opening windows to new worlds for our audiences. Our clients include the BBC, Spotify, Audible, the Wellcome Trust, Factory International and The Southbank Centre.
We are looking for a Digital Producer to work on a new weekly YouTube-first entertainment & pop culture video podcast for a major platform. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively to support a high-profile new format with weekly cultural hot takes on pop culture and internet trends. We are looking for someone to be part of a growing team passionate about emerging ideas and to help create something distinctive that lives beyond the feed.

You will be a core member of the production team, crafting weekly edits and ensuring our technical output matches our editorial ambition.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media and Graphic Design
You will be up to date with visual trends for longform programmes and shortform clips on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. You'll use these skills to originate, record/direct and edit engaging social media packages showcasing the best of the series and growing the online audience in collaboration with a wider marketing team.
You will have demonstrable experience of Adobe Photoshop to design thumbnail artwork for YouTube with good instincts on how to drive engagement with simple yet elegant design to quickly draw people in.
Post-production
You'll create and refine longform programme edits, responding to notes from the Executive Producer, working between paper edits on Descript in some cases and implementing the changes into your sequence.
You will manage files from studio into the post-production environment in the Adobe Creative Cloud. You will sync studio pictures with sound, and create multi-camera sequences.
You will lead on material management, following our archiving processes and ensure drives and production kit are managed effectively.
About You (Skills & Experience):
Essential Criteria:
You are a podcast and content fan and are always up to date with the latest content trends.
Experience editing long and short-form content, understanding the audience's journey and how to retain them.
Proficiency on Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
A team player with interest in elevating the work of our company and contributing to ideas. A responsive, reliable self-starter.
Ability to analyse data and turn insights into action.
Good working technical knowledge including media management and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
Beneficial skills:
Additional digital workflow tools including Frame IO and After Effects, plus experience of Adobe Audition and After Effects.
Experience of producing and directing location single camera/social media and/or multi-camera studio shoots, can work with location sound and lighting.
Sharp writing skills for social copy and metadata.

Working pattern: The role is 3-4 days a week, spread routinely across the week.
Salary: £35,000 - £40, 000 pro rata’d and depending on experience
